Climbing is experiencing some of the biggest changes in its history.
From an adventurous outdoor activity practiced by mountain lovers with a deep appreciation of the culture and lifestyle, to an inclusive and accessible sport practiced by an ever-increasing number of indoor climbers of all ages and abilities throughout the world. The popularity of climbing has increased dramatically over the years with an increasing number of commercial climbing centers opening, combined with the installation of climbing walls in schools, colleges, universities as well as local parks and public spaces, enabling more people than ever to experience the joy of climbing. Furthermore, Entre-Prises are very proud to have designed and built the climbing walls for the sport’s debut at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Climbing is a physical and mental exercise which brings people together creating an encouraging social space which benefits the individual as well as the wider society. Schools love teaching climbing because it conveys humility, self-esteem, tenacity and trust. Dedicated climbing gyms have the ability to offer a wider variety of climbing disciplines such as lead climbing, bouldering and speed climbing. Local park districts trust climbing to enhance social life in public parks. Teams and federations support healthy climbing competitions and train climbers to exceed their own targets. Shopping malls, investors and multi-activity centres choose climbing and fun climbing in order to introduce anybody to this complete and positive practice.
